Do you provide transportation after I drop my vehicle off?
Yes, we are happy to provide this service to you.
Is the use of a rental car included with my repair?
Yes, if you have that as part of your insurance policy. We can help make the arrangements for you if you want one.
What determines if a vehicle is totaled?
A vehicle is a total loss when the price of repairs exceeds the value of the vehicle, which is determined by your insurance company.
What are betterment charges?
Betterment is a portion of the cost you incur when damaged parts that have wear and tear on them are damaged and need to be replaced. When the worn parts are replaced with new, factory-issued parts your car will appear to be in better condition than prior to the accident and your insurance company will want you to contribute to the expense.
Do I have to take my vehicle to the repair shop my insurance company tells me to use?
No, the decision is yours to make. The state of CA has an anti-steering law that prohibits such actions.
How and when can I safely wash my car after it is repaired?
For the first 30 days after the repair
- Wash the vehicle in the shade
- Use a mild detergent, cool water, and a soft cloth
- Do Not use a commercial car wash
- Avoid gravel roads
- Avoid parking under trees to prevent sap from getting on the vehicle
For the first 90 days avoid waxing and polishing the vehicle.
