Its not often you find an automotive shop that can deliver a good price, good service, good quality, and speed. Carrillo & Sons exceeded my expectations.The tailgate on my brand new GMC truck was vandalized / keyed. I contacted a few shops in the area asking if I could get the truck in quickly for repairs. I received (from the body shop that is widely renowned as the best shop in Santee) a response to bring it in and we can have you talk with an estimator...which would only delay the process. Another shop with great reviews in El Cajon informed me, "I've been told not to accept any more vehicles."I called Carrillo & Sons and spoke with Haven on a Monday. She took a moment to speak with the manager and said they could get me in that day or tomorrow, and have the vehicle back by end of the week. I told her I'd get back to them. Later that evening, I realized I had too much going on that week in which I needed the truck. I called the next day and asked if I could bring it in the following Monday. Haven responded with "absolutely! and we should have it back to you on Friday"She then sent me a link in which I was able to upload photos so they could provide an estimate. This was emailed to me within an hour. I used to be an auto adjuster with a large insurance company and I know how to look for unnecessary up-charges. The estimate came back with all reasonable and expected operations to repair and paint the tailgate.I brought the vehicle in for drop off on Monday and Haven's service was friendly and efficient. On Tuesday she called me to inform me the painter wanted to blend the panels on the multi-function tailgate to ensure a perfect match. She quoted that there would be a little bit of an upcharge for this work. I agreed, as its a brand new truck and I wanted it to look perfect.Once the shop started the work I started to receive emails and text messages updating me on the progress. Nice touch.Thursday morning I received a call from Haven that the truck was ready for pick up. Wow...ahead of schedule!I picked up the vehicle that afternoon. The truck was completely washed and looking like it just came off the showroom floor. The repair and the paint job was spectacular second to none, and again, I've seen a lot of repairs due to working for the insurance company in the past. Best of all, not only did I not receive the additional charge to blend the paint, but they were able to find a few areas of cost savings and I paid less than my initial estimate.Remarkable!!Its rare nowadays to not only be completely satisfied, but to receive service that is above and beyond expectations. If you live in East County, want to receive great service, a fair price, and great communication throughout the repair process, I wouldn't take your vehicle anywhere else than Carrillo & Sons.

Recently took my wife's XC90 Volvo SUV in for a detail. I made an appointment and they were expecting me. Car was completed ahead of their estimated time. One of the best details I have ever gotten on a vehicle.
